Dear Husband and Wife Who won’t Embrace Counseling

 There are many reasons a couple could refuse going for counseling. Many of the reasons usually given are;

• My Partner would never agree to come to marriage counseling
• My Partner believes that we should avoid bringing in a 3^rd party into our matter
• We have both attended Counseling before yet no changes from him or her
• The Conflicts, arguments and fights are too much that even Counseling cannot save the marriage
• I am not interested in the marriage anymore so no need for Counseling
• I think we are better off going our Separate ways than trying to make it work by embracing Counseling
• I feel Counseling will be a waste of time as everyone in our Family has intervened yet no positive changes so I doubt if Counseling will work for this Marriage
• I am not even sure who needs counseling between the two of us and don’t know if only one of us or each of us could get counselled separately.
• And sometimes for Financial Constraints
